OVE Innovation Day, the hotspot for innovators in electrical engineering and information technology, will take place on 19 November 2025. Together, we will dive into the world of trends and future topics in our industry. Participants will learn more about the latest technological developments and electrical engineering standardisation work at the cutting edge.
Political tensions, tariffs, disrupted supply chains: the conditions for global trade have become more difficult within the last months.
In a time of increasing trade barriers, norms and standards are not only the foundation for a competitive economy, but also a strategic instrument.
Globally recognised standards define uniform requirements, create trust, ensure safety and guarantee interoperability. In view of the comprehensive digitalisation and electrification, this applies in particular to electrical engineering standards.
How do electrical engineering standards help to remain globally competitive in uncertain times? Why are they so important for the success of innovative future technologies? And how can domestic companies benefit from their participation in standardisation work?
At OVE Innovation Day 2025, international leaders in electrical engineering standardisation, representatives of domestic companies and experts from research institutions and start-ups will discuss the importance of standardisation in economically challenging times.
The OVE Innovation Award will continue in 2025. The nominees have the possibility to pitch at the OVE Innovation Day. The winners will then be announced by the jury.
You can find out more about the OVE Innovation Day on our event website: www.ove-innovationday.at
The event is free of charge and will take place in hybrid form. Online participants will receive their personal link shortly before the event. However, registration is required.
Attendance of the event will be confirmed as professional training by a certificate from the OVE Academy.
