Die ComForEn 2026 widmet sich den digitalen und infrastrukturellen Grundlagen einer vollständig erneuerbaren Energiezukunft. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Reallabore, sektorübergreifende Systemlösungen und die Rolle moderner IKT-Infrastrukturen für das Energiesystem der Zukunft.

Ziel der Tagung ist es, Akteur:innen aus Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft, Verwaltung und Praxis zu vernetzen und den Wissensaustausch über aktuelle Entwicklungen in regionalen Energiesystemen, Sektorenkopplung und Digitalisierung zu fördern.

Wie können Energiesysteme auf regionaler Ebene effizient, resilient und nachhaltig gestaltet werden?
Beiträge von Reallaboren und Trägerorganisationen beleuchten Herausforderungen und Ziele der Umsetzung in verschiedenen Regionen.

• IKT-Infrastruktur als Rückgrat der Energiewende
Digitale Technologien und Plattformen sind zentrale Bausteine eines intelligenten, sektorübergreifenden Energiesystems. Themen: Interoperabilität, Datenmanagement, Anwendung von Standards und Best Practices.

• Use Cases mit Wirkung
Erfolgreiche Praxisbeispiele aus Reallaboren zeigen, wie wirtschaftliche Tragfähigkeit, soziale Einbettung und technologische Skalierbarkeit zusammenwirken können.
Beispiele: Energiegemeinschaften, Energie-Spendenmodelle, GreenPower eGen, Einbindung der Bevölkerung.

• Sektorenkopplung & Multienergieträger-Strategien
Wie gelingt die intelligente Verbindung von Strom, Wärme, Mobilität und Industrie?

ComForEn 2026 focuses on the digital and infrastructural foundations of a fully renewable energy future. The conference highlights real-world laboratories, cross-sector system solutions, and the role of modern ICT infrastructures in shaping the energy systems of tomorrow.

The goal of the event is to connect stakeholders from science, industry, administration, and practice, and to foster the exchange of knowledge on current developments in regional energy systems, sector coupling, and digitalization.

How can energy systems be designed to be efficient, resilient, and sustainable at the regional level?
Contributions from real-world laboratories and supporting organizations will explore the challenges and goals of implementation in different regions.

• ICT Infrastructure as the Backbone of the Energy Transition
Digital technologies and platforms are key enablers of an intelligent, cross-sector energy system.
Topics include interoperability, data management, and the application of standards and best practices.

• Impactful Use Cases
Successful case studies from real-world laboratories demonstrate how economic viability, social integration, and technological scalability can be achieved together.
Examples include energy communities, energy-sharing models, GreenPower eGen, and citizen participation.

• Sector Coupling & Multi-Energy Carrier Strategies
How can electricity, heat, mobility, and industry be intelligently connected?
