DESCRIPTION:OVE Innovation Day, the hotspot for innovators in electrical en
 gineering and information technology, will take place on 19 November 2025. 
 Together, we will dive into the world of trends and future topics in our in
 dustry. Participants will learn more about the latest technological develop
 ments and electrical engineering standardisation work at the cutting edge.\
 n\nPolitical tensions, tariffs, disrupted supply chains: the conditions for
  global trade have become more difficult within the last months.\n\nIn a ti
 me of increasing trade barriers, norms and standards are not only the found
 ation for a competitive economy, but also a strategic instrument.\n\nGlobal
 ly recognised standards define uniform requirements, create trust, ensure s
 afety and guarantee interoperability. In view of the comprehensive digitali
 sation and electrification, this applies in particular to electrical engine
 ering standards.\n\nHow do electrical engineering standards help to remain 
 globally competitive in uncertain times? Why are they so important for the 
 success of innovative future technologies? And how can domestic companies b
 enefit from their participation in standardisation work?\n\nAt OVE Innovati
 on Day 2025, international leaders in electrical engineering standardisatio
 n, representatives of domestic companies and experts from research institut
 ions and start-ups will discuss the importance of standardisation in econom
 ically challenging times.\n\n\n\nOVE Innovation Award 2025\n\nThe OVE Innov
 ation Award will continue in 2025. The nominees have the possibility to pit
 ch at the OVE Innovation Day. The winners will then be announced by the jur
